Diversification has been paramount to the company’s growth and ability to weather major economic downturns. In the 1990’s, especially in 1994, when we first founded Arenco Invest Ltd – our predecessor company – office and retail sectors were the company’s primary focus, but we also developed for McDonald’s at the heart of Hungary, a significant fast food restaurant, which helped lure other class-A companies into the region.
In contrast, the early 2000s were characterized by logistic and wholesale developments thanks to the integration to the European Union and the company began to diversify and build a portfolio of a shopping mall and wholesale shopping/logistic centers. As a learning process, we enhanced the value of an asset class through creative marketing and management strategies.
In 2005, we re-established the company with some structural refinements as well and the upcoming years were devoted to industrial developments and created our largest project with a tire manufacturer of which helped to strengthen economic capabilities of the region. This experience and creativity has garnered us the long-term trust of a distinguished group of investors.
After 2008, we complemented our core business model with advisory to add value to our clients amid economic turmoil. Auberry Capital advised Motel One in searching prime property in Budapest to build up a new luxurious hotel in downtown.
In the spring of 2017, we renewed our company’s business model, changed the executive and ownership structure in order to gain global exposure, and brought in comprehensive approaches to create long-term value in our portfolio. Finally, we renamed the company to Auberry Capital and made a total facelift of the company’s design too leading the way into the future and developing dreams together.
Today, our goal is to diversify globally within cities like Boston, New York, San Francisco, London, Dubai and even reaching emerging markets as China. Furthermore, we now focus on new asset classes domestically as well, e.g. residential multi-family and hotel sectors. The company now builds upon the theme of developing and holding assets long-term.
